By reading the magical story of Dorian Gray, an inspiration came to my mind. I wanted my good side to be me doing all kinds of activities because the feeling of slightly out of breath, sweat, and the release of dopamine makes me happy and shine.
Please adjust brightness of computer to the brightness, as the picture is shot in sundown and I wanted to take advantage of this special lighting. As the result, this beautiful highlight that traces me in the picture can be seen.
I had always been very active. I was very good at swimming, Latin dances in the professional level, mountain climbing, biking, skateboard, skiing, snowboarding, and tennis. I also remember I attempted every sports and activities that were new to me as if the energy in my little body were infinite to use. I really cherish the memory I was like that, being fearless toward failing at an activity and being pumped all the time to try new things. It is what gave me happiness in life. It is a shame that I convinced myself heavy school work is the excuse of being not active at all. I want to regain my activeness because it not only makes me feel happy and youthful, it also physically makes my skin and body more health and strong, which is the key towards youthfulness.
In this photo, I combine the techniques of multiple exposure, lighting technique, as well as short depth of field (the concrete on the ground with the series of movement) to achieve this final look.

Who doesn't have another side of them that is well hidden from other's?
Well, from now on, me.
In stark contrast, my clothings changed from neat sports wear to pyjamas, the floor is flooded with all kinds of things that I had to make each of my step carefully so my feet cannot get stabbed: oil paint, markers, headphone...and even So Nice cashew ice cream on the right?! Additionally, I had my glassed on, hair loosely tied, and tired expression. This is actually real sometimes as I paint and paint and forgets the time. Nothing can stop me from perusing art( my status switch from the left to right and back, paint and sleep and paint), which, is called labyrinth making by my mom because she needs to plan a route from my scattered things to approach me. However, every time I end this crazy period of art making, my back hurts, my legs are sore, and I feel like my organs are even shouting to me. I feel very old.
Overall, I made this project for myself. I want to balance activities with school work or art making. I hope that this can mark the beginning of my goal with your witness.
At last, doesn't I look energetic and more youthful looking in the good side of me?
